VisualisationThe piece
One material, shaped to a brief.
NUMU develops site-specific pieces where an existing product is not the right answer: a sculptural wall composition, a run of custom lighting, a set of display plinths, a large artwork for a lobby. The same PALMYCO™ system, grown on regional palm fibre in Dubai, is shaped through custom moulds.
The Fungal Art Series® can extend beyond single artworks: NUMU develops site-specific installations and wall compositions for hotels, interiors and cultural spaces using the same grown textures, from gallery pieces to immersive environments.
Commissions follow the process used for architectural clients: brief, sample, review, approval and delivery. Evidence for any performance requirement is stated in writing, with a clear distinction between tested results and targets.
