The piece

Gold does not cover the material. It traces it.

Aurum is a body of work born from the encounter between an underground living material and gold. Parts of the mycelium’s organic pattern are filled with gold, revealing what is usually overlooked: the quiet complexity and sensuality of fungal growth.

The gold follows the natural relief like light on a landscape. The first work, Aurum 01/01, was completed in November 2025 and photographed in the desert at sunset.
